The Hantsport Memorial Community Centre (HMCC) is pleased to invite applications for the Brad Webster Memorial Bursary. Established in memory of Brad Webster, this bursary recognizes a young person from the Hantsport community who is preparing to take the next step in their educational journey.

Brad was deeply committed to Hantsport and the people who call it home. He believed strongly in the value of sport, healthy competition, and the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a team. His loyalty to the community and his support for Hantsport School and the HMCC have left a lasting impact.

The HMCC honours Brad’s legacy by supporting a student who reflects the same community spirit, teamwork, and dedication as they pursue further education with a $1,000 bursary. Graduates of Hantsport School who are enrolled in a post-secondary education program and who demonstrate involvement in sport, teamwork, and community life are encouraged to apply.

To apply: Provide a brief letter describing how you have been involved in sport and community service and how these experiences have impacted you, as well as what the community of Hantsport means to you, what you have contributed to the community during your time at Hantsport School and beyond, and what your post-secondary education plans are. Submissions should be no longer than 250 words (around 1 page in font size 12). Finalists may be contacted to provide further information or invited to take part in a short interview.
